When enrolment is open (see dates above) you will be able to select courses and add to your order.
When finished browsing, go to your ‘orders’ (shopping trolley icon) and either register or log-in to process online.
You will receive all your enrolment information confirmation and receipt via email.

Places in all courses are strictly limited, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Places in all courses are confirmed only on receipt of payment.

LEARNING PROGRAM INFORMATION

Enrolment Times

Enrolments can be made up to the commencement of the course, providing there are places still available in the course, or that the course has not been cancelled due to under enrolment.

On enrolling in a course notice of any existing medical condition or disability that may affect participation in the course should be given to Fremantle Arts Centre reception.

Who can apply?

Fremantle Arts Centre courses are open to everyone and no qualifications are required unless specified in the course description.

Fremantle Arts Centre’s adult courses are open to anyone aged 18 yrs or over. The After-school Art & Design Program is open to high school aged students, being 13yrs – 17yrs.  The Kids Holiday Program Older Kids is open to children aged 9 – 13 yrs and The Kids Holiday Program Younger Kids is open to children ages 5 – 8yrs.

Please note FAC is a heritage listed building with access limitations. A number of courses require use of special materials and equipment that may not be suitable for everyone. If you have any special requirements please discuss with the Education Coordinator before enrolling in a course. 

What do you need to bring?

Fremantle Arts Centre course fees cover the cost of tuition only. You will need to bring along your own materials to all classes.

Each course information sheet is available to download adjacent to the course listing on this website. Some materials may be available for purchase from your tutor and this information will also be noted on your course information sheet.

Concessions and Discounts

Discounts on courses are only open to Fremantle Arts Centre members. The discount received for members is 10% on any course in the Learning Program, except classes that are part of the Kids Holiday Program. Memberships and member discounts are not transferable.

Refund Policy & Course Cancellations

Fees are paid in advance and your place is only confirmed by payment. 

If you are unable to attend, notice must be given five days before the course commences to receive a credit note, less 20% administration fee, redeemable within 12 months.

If a class is cancelled by FAC due to lack of participants FAC will refund your money in full. 

The tuition fee does not include the cost of your materials. For material requirements see course outlines.

While every effort is made to run courses as publicised, on occasion changes to location and tutor of a course may need to be made. FAC reserves the right to make these changes. In this event no refund or credit will be given

FAC has the right to cancel a course at any time due to low enrolment numbers or unforeseen circumstances. Students will be notified by phone and email as soon as possible. Courses cancelled due to low enrolment numbers are notified up to 4 days before the commencement of the course. In this instance students will be offered a full refund or course credit.

There will be no refunds or credits issued for absences from classes.

Privacy Policy

Any personal details recorded by Fremantle Arts Centre will be used only for the purposes of your enrolment in Fremantle Arts Centre Learning Program and to notify you of future Fremantle Arts Centre courses and events. If you do not wish for these details to be used by Fremantle Arts Centre, please contact Fremantle Arts Centre reception to register this request. No personal information will be disclosed outside Fremantle Arts Centre without your expressed consent, except where required by law.
